We did it! We made it to our 100th episode! I say “we” because I know there’s no way I could have reached 100 episodes alone. There have been countless friends, family and fans who have supported this show and inspired me to keep creating. I have seen every Tweet, every Instagram comment, every Facebook comment and every email and I feel so honored that this show has resonated with you.
I had no idea what I was doing or what to expect when I did my first episode with actress Jen Hasty. My audio wasn’t great, my website was terrible, and I asked her way too many questions. But Jen, along with all of my guests, were gracious enough to lend me their time and let me share their story. I have asked ridiculous questions that are too late to take back now (Do babies born in water like to swim??) And had heartfelt, life-changing conversations with women who inspire me.
My favorite episodes though have to be the ones I’ve done with my husband Chris. He has been by my side every step of this process, watching me spend hours and hours trying to create something even when I wasn’t sure what that something was. He has cheered me on as I waver over blog posts, and graciously doing quality control over each episode before it goes live. Thank you baby!
In the past nearly 2 years I have learned a lot about myself as a mom, a business woman, an actress and friend. All of these areas are a work in progress and you know what? That’s okay! It’s good to keep growing and learning about yourself. I am 40 years old and still learning every day. And right now I am bubbling with love and humility because of all the support my show has received. There is so many more things on the horizon and I hope you’ll come along with me for the ride.
