I am a closeted clean freak. Okay I guess the cat’s out of the bag now! But I love cleaning. And with the holidays coming up I find it particularly stressful to keep my house clean with the constant stream of visitors. So when I came across The WISP I was intrigued. Could it really be that much different from a regular broom? I soon found out the answer was yes.
The WISP was created to modernize the broom. Now before you ask how that’s even possible, let me explain. Most brooms can spread dirt in a wider area, releasing particles into the air and never quite cleaning up your mess.
But the WISP features 12″-wide short dense 90° angle electrostatic bristles that create a squeegee-like effect against your floor. No dust, allergens, & pet-hair get flung back in the air. The part I really like is the ease of use. It has a telescoping handle to make it easier if you’re tall or short to comfortably use. And, no more hunching over to scoop dirt into your dust pan! The WISPSystem has a wide shelf & deep basin called the WISPpan. It traps debris while you easily move it with your foot. When stepped on, the pan applies 4 pressure points for a smooth, clean seal to the floor.
Reading about these features sounded too good to be true. I had to try it for myself. And after just a few minutes of WISPing my kitchen, my floors were clean, my back didn’t hurt from bending over, and I was able to reach areas that my regular straw broom couldn’t reach.
