We are so thrilled to partner with Dole Packaged Foods again this holiday season to Wake Up and Watch the Rose Parade! This year Dole is emphasizing its commitment to global nutrition, conservation and well-being with their float, “Sunshine For All.”
And we want you to join us and Dole to wake up and watch on January 1st as the Dole float makes its way down the parade route during the Rose Parade. I’ll be streaming live on Facebook and I’d love to talk with you about the parade, and the new year. Log on and chat with me!
The theme of the entire Rose Parade is “The Power of Hope.” And Dole is playing off of that theme by celebrating their commitment to building a more equitable future by putting health and well-being within the reach of everyone, regardless of income or location.

This is Dole Packaged Foods 10th year to participate in the Rose Parade and our third year to partner with Dole. We are excited to visit the float barn and get our hands on some flowers or seeds and whatever they need us to help with. We will also be busy in the kitchen making (a mess!) and something yummy with Dole products. Our favorite dish is the Peach Breakfast Bake – Dole sliced peaches, brown sugar and pancakes. It’s perfect for breakfast or dessert.
Here’s what we know about the Dole Packaged Foods float so far. It will feature a contemporary-styled sun and Dole’s four pillars of sustainability – water management, carbon footprint, soil conservation and waste reduction. And of course, no Rose Parade float would be complete without flowers! The Dole float will have an ombre of vibrant roses and carnations to showcase rejuvenation of a new day – paying homage to Dole’s Hawaiian heritage and roots.
