You love food and you love wine, right? Imagine them both together in one magical place with a dose of Disney and you’ll get Disney California Adventure Food and Wine Festival.

This yearly event has become one of my favorite traditions. So when my girl Erin Ziering asked me to join her for a day of fun in the park sans kids, I was in!

Here’s what it’s all about. Disney sets up kiosks throughout the park that feature various foods and wines created by their world renowned chefs.

This year the offerings are brand new and have a lot to please ages from 3 to 93. To get started simply visit the Marketplaces throughout the park.

We used a Sip and Savor pass that allowed us up to 8 items in any of the Marketplaces of our choosing. The Sip and Savor passes are only good for food and non-alcoholic beverages.

You can buy a Sip and Savor pass for Disney California Food and Wine Festival at:

  • Elias and Co.
  • Festival Gifts
  • Festival Marketplace
  • Kingswell Camera Shop
  • Rushin’ River Outfitters
  • Seaside Souvenirs
  • Sip and Savor Cart
  • Studio Store (Hollywood Land)

One of the first stops when you enter California Adventure is Nuts About Cheese! Here you can grab Fiscalini White Cheddar Lager Soup, Impossible Cheeseburger Mac and Cheese, or and Oikos Greek Yogurt Banoffee Tart. The main reason we stopped here was for the Honey Bourbon Lemonade. Delicious and great for the gram.

Next door is Uncorked California where I got a red wine flight. You can also get a white wine flight or a mimosa trio, also good for the gram.

I loved the Shrimp and Braised Corn at Off the Cob. And Erin made fun of me, but the I <3 Artichokes kiosk was my favorite. I really do love artichokes so I was all about the Fried Artichokes with Lemon Aioli, and Artichoke Toast.

We had a delicious Red Sangria here too. Pro Tip: There’s a great heart wall for Insta photos that you don’t want to miss at this booth!

My second favorite Marketplace was Cluck-a-Doodle-Moo! Ranch Fried Chicken Wings, French Onion Grilled Beef Sliders and a Chocolate Hazelnut Crunch were hands down some of the best foods. I’m still dreaming about that Hazelnut Crunch!

The other kiosks include Berry Patch, Garlic Kissed, LA Style, Avocado Time, Golden Dreams, California Craft Brews, One In A Melon, Peppers Cali-ente, Paradise Beer Garden, and the Paradise Garden Grill. Disney California Food & Wine Festival takes place Feb. 28 – April 21, 2020. Guests can also enjoy unforgettable  cooking demonstrations, seminars, music, hands-on entertainment and more. What Marketplace will you try first?
